About Excidium
Determination and perseverance have always been at the core of Excidium. The band was formed with a clear intention to create heavy music rooted in discipline, consistency, and respect for the genre. From the beginning, the path was demanding, shaped by steady work rather than quick results.As the lineup evolved, lead guitarist Jeff Emerson joined Excidium, bringing new depth and direction to the sound. With his arrival, the band began playing live shows and refining its identity through experience. Not long after, Gabriel Kreiton added his influence, further defining the band’s character and edge.Over time, Excidium solidified its direction around thrash metal inspired by the spirit of the 80s and 90s. Focused on progression instead of shortcuts, the band continues forward, staying true to old-school metal while forging its own path.
